It all started when…

Marc and Aimee Gazal, from Pittsburgh, PA, met in the early 2000s while working at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. Aimee was the Catering Director and Marc was the Operations Manager. Aimee oversaw many different events including training camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers and fed President George W. Bush. 

Work brought Marc and Aimee to the Indiana area in 2015. While they enjoyed exploring this new part of the country and meeting great people, they missed the rich food history of their hometown. This foodie couple began dreaming of opening a food shop inspired by their favorite places in the Strip District in Pittsburgh. 

In late 2021, Marc and Aimee decided to turn this dream into a reality. Combining their vast knowledge of food service and passion for entertaining, they created the concept of Lake It Easy Gourmet. Now Marc and Aimee wish to bring you their favorite foods and recipes so you can enjoy healthy and hearty food options on and off the lake. 

When Marc and Aimee are not at Lake It Easy Gourmet, you can find them hanging out with their rottweiler, Harley or spending time on their pontoon with family and friends at the Lake James sandbar.

Lake It Easy is opening on July 18th, 2022, and is located in the Country Fair Shopping Center near Jed’s BBQ and Brew. The Gazals have been searching far and wide, consuming quality breads, perfectly sliced deli meats and all the uncharted territories in-between to provide a sandwich experience unlike any other.
